March 30, 2017: The puppies are playing with one another now. We will break down the whelping pen and transition them to a larger area and begin feeding them solid food. The puppies will eat twice a day to supplement their milk consumption. We will begin by using Pedigree canned dog food mixed with milk. Also, the puppies will receive their first dose of round worm medicine today, along with Lady Igraine to make sure that no worms are present consuming the nutrients we are giving them.

March 26, 207: Second temperament test on the pups today.

This is an exceptional litter in temperament. Each one has such an alert intelligence about them. They are a thinking group of puppies as well as beautiful in their conformation. For this reason, Lois has decided to keep Boone into the breeding program, so only one puppy is going to be sold as a pet from this litter.

March 17, 2017: The puppies are exceptionally quiet and do not make any noises apart from grunting sounds here and there. The puppies in this litter sleep, eat, and poop without any fussing. An interesting bit to notice is that Aspen, the only female in the group is a recessive black in coloration. This means that she can only throw the gene for recessive black in her puppies. It will be the male, with whom she is bred that determines whether there will be any other colors a litter from her. We will be keeping this female within the breed so that she can increase the temperament qualities in some of our more crossbred puppies as well as add this color diverity into the lines.

March 13, 2017: We were able to temperament test the puppies today. Scores posted above.

March 10, 2017: Four puppies were born; one female and 3 males.
